Pre-Competitive

Pre-Competitive

The pre competitive program is an exclusive program for 7 and 8 yr olds that prepare young boys physically, technically and mentally for entrance into the Gymnastics Ontario Competitive Program.

Entrance into this program

Entrance into the program is by invitation only and offered to athletes currently in the EYGC mini pre  program that have demonstrated the necessary physical, technical and mental  readiness required for this specialized program.

Some Details

7  & 8 yrs old:  9 hrs per week (3 days)

Competitions:  2  invitational competitions per season

Commitment:    This is a 12 month commitment.  Regular season training hrs are consistent from Sept to June.  Training hrs change for the summer season July and Aug.  Minor schedule changes may occur due to holidays and competitions.
